This is similar to Doctors working in Pakistan too. Nowadays Medical schools are charging a fees of Rs.2million/year for a 5 year MBBS. After graduation the salary offered to graduates are between Rs. 30k to 50k as a house officer and around Rs.40k to 100k as a resident!
