@thinking_panda I just spent a few weeks at the art college in Halifax, building a town of cardboard with some fun-loving kids. No phones or tvs required! Just human imagination!

@Mattl8241 @mattgurney well I say more Canadians should sign up for the reserves at least, specifically every Member of Parliament for example, despite your reasoning lol

@Mattl8241 @mattgurney Name me another nation with 40 million people spread over the size of Canada. I’ll wait too! Oh, and most of the population lives along the border of the nation with the biggest army, and our biggest city dips way down south surrounded by the USA

@joansview @kinsellawarren The first I heard of Danielle was when she crossed the floor from Opposition leader, to the Government. She said Alberta *does not need opposition* I bet Danielle still believes Alberta does not need Opposition, lol

@FoodProfessor Nova Scotia had three dairies when I was a kid, all making their own unique ice creams in the summer season. Today they are all owned by one Quebec conglomerate. But wasn’t Supply Management meant to *save* our small family dairies??

@RodKahx How about this plan: Point out to our Banking Executives and Boards, Presidents, etc etc that their new goal is not Increased Revenues but “Survival” If they want to survive, they’re going to have pay for Canada. That’s where all the money accumulates - - at the Banks

@Mattl8241 @mattgurney Good for those 1440 people who have signed up to wear the uniform. I say they deserve a pay bonus for their intestinal fortitude, compared to the millions and millions of Canadians who did not sign up.

@FoodProfessor Excuse me, Professor - can you point me to the part of Canada’s Constitution that outlines the office of the Prime Minister and how Canadians are to elect the Prime Minister To his grand office? Pretty please, with sugar on?

@DeathMetalV in the same tradition as the belief that more money makes rich people more industrious, but more money makes *everyone else* lazy and stop working… money is its own opposite! Magically!

@ConsumerSOS I still love my American friends and family, always will. But how disappointing it was to hear a few Americans laughing at the idea of hurting Canadians.

@MJMcKean Reminds me of being a lunch monitor on playground duty - those kids sure do have active imaginations! They can truly dream up the zaniest stuff and they even seem to really believe their own fictions!

@exposforever @brianlilley I think I read it first as a complaint about the salary of the Office itself, and not a criticism that the person holding the Office hasn’t earned the salary. So maybe I was way off this time

@KatKanada_TM It’s not Canada’s responsibility to stop *anything* from entering the USA. Just like it’s not the USA’s responsibility to stop *anything* from entering Canada. But the fact that *we’re doing what they tell us* says a lot about our sovereignty already

@ryangerritsen It doesn’t really make sense for the Governor General to get wealthy unless the rest of us are also getting wealthy
