@gas_biz Thanks. I carry a term life policy. The best policies are either term life if you need the insurance or none if you don't. Longer life insurance policies cost more and lock you in. Bad deal. You only need a big policy when family is young. If I die, my wife still wants shoes.

@GuyTalksFinance @ReaperCapital To his point, you're FAR more likely to win a case on a credit card than you are a debit card. That's been my experience with any bank I've ever dealt with - maybe there are better ones out there. Credit card companies will generally come to bat for you.

Where do you park your "cash"? I normally keep at least 6 months or more of living expenses in “cash”.  If you normally keep around $40k to $50k in “cash”, the difference between getting paid 5% and 0.2% is around $2k per year. I’m using $SGOV, $SHV, and $BIL as my cash

@GuyTalksFinance My mortgage payment is under $1,400 per month. 3 bed, 2.5 bath. Middle class area. Maybe upper middle. When the mortgage is paid off it would be about $400/month. Factoring in inflation, it'll probably be $500/month. A decent 2 bedroom apartment is over $2,000 here.
