As an ex cop I hate it when police are criticised and there is no one speaking up for them.
Unfortunately most people don't see what police have to deal with on a daily basis and how thin they are on the ground.
That's the stats the Met should be putting out.

The police do not make the decision to bail suspects. That is down to CPS!
I can guarantee the investigating officer has applied for the suspects to be remanded as is standard in serious cases but CPS make the decision!

People grieve differently! I served in Iraq, Afghanistan, N.Ireland, Bosnia and consider myself quite robust. But when my mum died my wife came home to find me jetwashing the drive in the freezing pouring rain wearing shorts and flip flops!

It is up to a court to determine if the force used was reasonable!

I served in Iraq x 2, afghanistan, Bosnia x 3, Ireland 3 years and some other hell holes we shouldn't have been in my 22 years in the Army. I have a beard, lots of tattoos and a body peircing. I then did 12 years exemplary service in the police. Grow up!
