another incredible thing about deepseek: all the american AI labs compete to hire the top PhD researchers - but deepseek didn’t compete deepseek researchers aren’t top PhDs. most are not even PhDs

"Why FAIR?" is the question I got a lot from others. Well, I did get quite a few offers that look quite appealing. But FAIR is one of the few (if not the only) top-tier labs that people can still publish in a meaningful way, and that means a lot to me. Since joining in August, I’ve been working with a new team led by @real_asli, and we hope to share some cool stuff with you all soon!
