@MoBatEnjoyer @NoblestCalling I think there's a good chance there won't be. I remember seeing a post from someone that emphasized that children can move to Gospel songs, not just wiggle songs. I made a mental note.

@NoblestCalling @pol_plesiosaur It has been requested by enough General Authorities and General Officers in different meetings that I think it's a foregone conclusion. I'm just waiting for TabCo to do it in GC to make it certain.

@pol_plesiosaur @NoblestCalling (Whispers) Peace in Christ is definitely in the next hymnbook. Prepare yourself now.

@jennofthewest @NoblestCalling It's a children's song. Of course it's repetitive. It's not supposed to be dramatic. It's a great song for kids to learn about an important scripture and doctrine.

@NoblestCalling Seems to me there's a general unhappiness with any children songs released.

@kateiswell @JReubenCIark Perhaps there will be some songs that are still not appropriate, but we sang "Anytime, Anywhere" awhile back in sacrament meeting and it was actually really great. I didn't expect it to be such a good experience.

@TooManyLogans @PioneerPaperTrl @giordano_lives Yeah, I agree. Training has led me to believe that we're supposed to be openly inviting children to participate in sacrament meeting. That includes selecting songs they know from Primary.

@kateiswell @JReubenCIark Primary songs are meant to be sung in sacrament meeting too. This is the training.

@JReubenCIark This isn't news to those of us who watch the Friend to Friend broadcasts. It was a musical number previously. I think the Church is being smart about th new hymns. As most of Christianity abandons traditional hymns in favor of pop, the Church will preserve these old songs.

@raphonki A couple of years ago I made a goal to listen to something every day from a General Authority or Officer of the Church before I listened to my regular podcasts. I try to find something current before I go to past conference talks. I usually have plenty to choose from.

@FraGirolamo1 @m3lonh3ad @PioneerPaperTrl Even if he workshopped it over 5 years, the actual dictation process over 90 days is astounding. Frankly, it's a miracle

@riceslicer @latterdaylaura So it was good to leave the church over the Kirkland Safety Society. Glad we cleared that up. Thanks.

@riceslicer @latterdaylaura Kind of like the investors in the Kirkland Safety Society, huh? Those people lost everything. Do you think it was wise to apostatize for that?

@PioneerPaperTrl This is the other side of the horseshoe from the COVID bros. Interesting that things keep swinging back and forth.

@blightersort That Geraghty post makes me believe that NR is taking USAID $$. What a silly thing to lead with in a daily newsletter!

@bonchieredstate This treatment is why I have come to believe illegals have defacto diplomatic immunity. Thus their children are not entitled to citizenship.

@davidharsanyi I'm not one of them, but the food thing is huge with suburban moms. The Trump shy woman in Metro Phoenix probably felt a lot better about voting Trump bc of RFK jr.
