You just have to watch the mixed relay events in the swimming and athletics to see the difference. Its staggering. When I was a squash player, I was able to compete with world ranked females whereas I was just a decent club player amongst males.

Warmed my heart this morning when I saw a colleague in the Car Park who’d been battling a serious illness. He was back at work, wearing the uniform and looking tanned and fit. Made me smile for the rest of the day

She's spent a lot of time making surgical gowns & masks for her daughter & colleagues at Howarth Medical Practice🙌
Her daughter couldn't visit, so we went to say a BIG THANKS & happy 80th b'day🎉

Turned on the 10pm news to listen to some of the story of the Grenfell enquiry and am heartbroken to see how they’ve turned the tables and trying to blame the emergency services for this. Our proud profession keeps getting dragged through the mud and all we do is try our best.

I think you need to look at the era at the beginning of this century. Snooker nearly died and it was only a new regime that saved it. O’Sullivan is a big part of that being the biggest draw in snooker.

I used to be a very good standard squash player who played at a squash and tennis club. Tennis players used to turn to squash quite easily however squash to tennis would take a lot of time. It would take a long time to develop a good serve and a decent top spin backhand.

I used to work in a bank and the women there wore pretty much anything they liked however a friend of mine was told off for wearing a blue shirt instead of a white one. What I love about the fire service is that we’re one uniform, one team 👍

A taxi reversed into my car on my driveway. Taxi didn’t leave details. My neighbour witnessed it all (thankfully). Told the police who said it’s nothing to do with them as it’s on private property. 😏🥺🤔
