@patroklov For me it’s because they choose Rhaenyra as the only rightful claimant, and therefore Alicent has to be humbled and humiliated for crowning Aegon. She has no other legit reason (which Ryan told us about in the HotD podcast but not in the show) for crowing Aegon than the prophecy.
