You can legitimately sign in him on a 5-8 mil deal as a back up and it would be a win—especially if Scott Turner somehow avoids the axe. He’s actually got the 2nd highest winning% as a WSH QB since 2008 (Alex Smith is 1st) he’s a premier QB2.

I think you’re looking at it the wrong way. In a lot of ways, Dave the character is likeable. He’s an underdog that we root for. But he has a drive to be a great rapper and to be successful, and sometimes being confident can get confused with arrogance. So it may push ppl away.

Disagree here KS. Some of the best edges/angles are simple. Here’s a great thread of one such example (a great read, but notice what he says here in the 2nd post).
A good bettor doesn’t let that screenshot become public in the first place. Just my take.
Quick aside. Why share this now?
Rule: Never make an angle like this public if it can be bet somewhere. Someone is betting it. Don't ruin it for them.
I've seen this discussed enough on public-ish forums and podcasts to believe it's finally safe to talk about.

My man. This makes a lot of sense. Think of the opportunity cost. 5th round QB with tools on an extremely team friendly contract. Money saved that can go to Payne/OL. Take a QB late in the draft for camp competition. If Howell clearly isn’t NFL material, 24’ is loaded with QBs.

Another issue-current metrics don’t quantify the value of having ONE player both pitch and hit. Yes there is WAR, but that doesn’t account for the value created by Ohtani with one less roster spot in use. The nature of Ohtani’s abilities creates value far more than just WAR.

difference between edges eroding over time vs exploitable edges being killed for clout. There’s other likely other people betting the edge—don’t be the guy that splits 10s at the table.
The most +EV thing you can do with an exploitable edge (besides betting it) is shutting up.
