@sentientist "Eww gross" is in fact a. completely valid response to some behaviours, like the desire to have sex with animals, which is repulsive to all right thinking people. Thinking it could be permissible is the kind of belief so obviously wrong only an intellectual could believe it.

What's happening in Canada is unbelievably bleak and a warning to anyone who thinks you can have some form of limited euthanasia. Once you concede the principle that it can be a legitimate medical prodecure you're rapidly on the path to widespread murder of the most vulnerable.

@kobayashicore I think it still was the greatest grand Prix of all time, even if as an Alonso fan I'd obviously preferred if Senna had done a better job of taking care of Vettel in lap 1.

This is very good. The phenomenon of social liberals who live in bubbles of well adjusted people being unable to comprehend the kinds of destructive behaviours people with limited impulse control can fall into is especially common on this app.

Putting the genocidal rhetoric we're seeing in the context of historical English anti-semitism might make sense if it were coming from English people, but it's not, so this feels cowardly. The problem isn't English anti-semitism it's that there are too many Muslims in England.

This weekend’s column in @thetimes : on the history of English antisemitism. A topical subject, sadly.

@_HelenDale @jfwduffield It's fundamentally a boomer mindset. A generation that is atheistic in world view and are terrified by the reality that they will die and the world will go on without them. So they would rather indulge a fantasy that the world is ending than make peace with their own mortality.

It is important when you see stories like this to not lose sight of the fact that men cannot become women, women cannot become men. Transgenderism is a lie. The gender cult is so aggressive and psychotic that you might start to wonder if 2+2 really does equal 5. But it doesn't.

@lauriedunsire Thought second half was poor and we'll have to play much better in next year's champions league.

It's hard to conclude anything other than that the FIA are turning a blind eye to the McLaren wings flexing for the sake of the championship. And honestly the selective application of the rules to level things up has been pretty standard in F1 for a long time.
I'll leave this here @ScuderiaFerrari @FIA The entire DRS flap is rotating under load. You can see at the pivot points, the flap is not aligning with the wing tips. The flap is backing off at high speed, shedding drag. How is this okay?
