A few years ago, I discovered a cemetery nestled in between two houses in a subdivision. It contained around 50 marked and unmarked grave sites for young women & their children. After doing a bit more research, I discovered that there used to be a state-run home for “wayward.
A lot of “missing” girls were murdered by brothers and the family covered it up by saying the girls ran away or speculating on abductions.

When nurses, doctors, EMTs, etc fuck up, not only is their license at stake, but they often face civil lawsuits (& many of us carry private insurance bc of this). They’re held responsible for those settlements. Meanwhile, if a cop guns down an unarmed kid, they’re rarely held.

I go there often to pray & leave flowers on the graves, because no one else is visiting them. Many didn’t even have family who wanted to pay for a headstone, so they’re in unmarked graves. It’s such a heavy energy when you’re there- I have to take spiritual precautions.
