It is not my place to comment on the appointment of Simon Case as Cabinet Secretary. But I will say this: before he died my husband Chris Martin chose him to be his successor as PPS. And so tonight I think of Chris Martin and Lord Jeremy Heywood. Great men both.

Read this thread on yet another IPP prisoner way over tariff...original sentence 30 months...has done 15 years. The judge calls the IPP - a sentence with no end - ‘unjust’. This is far from being an isolated case. (1)
