I would like to see tuition set to what you can make at minimum wage in your state, at 20 hrs a week, for 10 weeks. In my state, that's $2,600. In states where it is 7.25, that would $1,450.

Yeah, this is exactly what I was thinking about. I think schools try to counteract the lack of access, but it's impossible. And PTA groups honestly probably care less than the school. But the school wants/needs the resources, so they have to make compromises.

This resonates with me. Was a Clinton supporter in 2016, but was not a Bernie hater and would have happily voted for him if he had won. Coming into this election, I again would be happy to vote for him, but still feel a sense that he dislikes the party I am a member of.

Having lived in Oregon for more than 2 decades, I would never want to go back to in-person voting. Vote by mail is thoughtful and convenient. I've rarely missed a vote in 20 years.

It was amazing to be a kid during that time. We roamed and played, living a life that was largely invisible to our parents. Bottle rocket chicken, BB gun fights, building ramps to jump with our bikes (no helmets!). It's amazing any of us lived through it.
