Our senior pets have passed away sadly, but we also foster. We do hospice fostering, keep them until they pass, but also were able to find homes for just about all of them. Senior dogs are so worth it!

I lost an entire group of friends to the weirdest ailments. Toxoplasmosis was the most frequent. A cat disease. Trying to find a dentist, funeral home who would work with them was next to impossible.

I went in Moscow in 1998. There were so many beggars. Mostly elderly ladies selling gloves made from military sweaters. I bought several pairs but the average person was delightful. It was not an easy life for them at all

Leo is still struggling. He’s eating, drinking from the dish and still having a hard time. He tested positive for coccidia and got treated for that today. I’ve isolated him from the pack so he can rest and not get jumped on by the little Shih Tzus. Healing thoughts appreciated.

Lone of the hardest things about bringing in a rescue is they don’t know how to do things like play with toys. They are so weary of noise and chaos. I want to hug and cuddle them but I have to let them make the choice to come to me. They’ll get there! Just love them.
