Duolingo as a starting point is good. It may be hard to get started when you know nothing about a language. It fosters a learning habit. You are supposed to speedrun the whole course within a few weeks and then get to textbooks or something else. Don't get slaved by day-streak.

I don't think the light ball has a sensor. It likely just changes its color per squeeze. And the sequence of the colors is already known. The video creator could simply place items that match light colors on the desk, and then use the ball to touch them to create an illusion.

To me Singapore is like Dubai and Hong Kong. It’s a small economy that has leeway that bigger economies don’t enjoy. Importing billionaires and high talents are enough to replenish its population and helps it maintain low taxes. Low pay third-world maids & helpers act as servants
