I simply don’t understand how Hikaru’s winning streak is so much longer than Magnus and Alireza - sure, he often plays 20-game matches against weaker opposition and they don’t, but other than that there’s no difference. 🤔

When I was 8, I lost a winning game at a chess tournament.
It was a 1 hour drive to get there, and I blundered and lost a winning position.
I came third in the tournament but should have come first.
Not sure what my dad did - I expect he gave me a hug?
