Just eliminate the “kicking motion” part of the rule and change it so as long as the player keeps the offending skate ON THE ICE the goal would still count. That way you still have the skill of scoring with your feet without endangering anyone.

It’ll be an interesting off-season, Tyler. I love Spurge, but he’s just can’t be the captain of our team going forward. Not if we have Cup aspirations. Next season might really suck again, but hopefully that’s the last of the struggles.
