This is exactly why I love middle school kids. They get such a bad rap, but they’re trying to learn how to be people. And I don’t mean they don’t need consequences, but the “bad kids” are still kids who need love, and I wish more people would remember that.

Infants are not “trying to get attention,” they’re getting their needs met in a developmentally appropriate way. I tried “cry it out” ONE TIME, and never again. 13 years old, and my baby knows I’m here when they need me. Always.
