I went in to the doctor today for a sore throat and they decided to check on baby. They couldn’t find a heartbeat, I started to sob, so they did a second ultrasound on a better machine and confirmed that baby has died. About a week ago. We are devastated. God is near.

This is our fourth miscarriage. Three before precious Hildegaard was born. But we really thought we would get to meet this one. God knows. He grieves with the grieving and loves our little one perfectly, and all the little ones so many of you have lost. We are not alone. ❤️

Evan is out of surgery and in a lot of pain, but the surgeon said he was able to stop the bleed and keep the spleen (which was essentially torn in half). The prayer now is that he won’t bleed internally anymore, and that he can get through these next few hours of pain.
