Have read through the Cass review and it’s back of a fag packet stuff that uses out of date ideas on gender identity. Labour is the party of equality and social justice and I know for a fact that me and many other members will not stand by in the face of this discrimination.

The whole thing feels quite 19th century but then I suppose that’s clearly where this government wants to take us with their views on the rights of refugees, workers, the homeless, LGBTQ+ people and everyone else they’ve screwed over in the past 13 years.

A cabinet system would be much more efficient for our city and we would see change happen a lot quicker. I am fully behind these proposals
Brighton & Hove’s Labour Council is proposing to move to a new system of democratic governance.
The proposals would see the council move from a Committee system to a Cabinet system.
