My autistic son was 4 before he willingly gave me a hug. He would tighten his entire body, and I honestly felt so rejected as his mom. It was so damn hard to build a connection with him. I was convinced he hated me. He is now 6, and just started waking me up with a hug🥺

Just a friendly reminder to have the correct ID on you! Any Arkansas specific state issued ID (I had to use my UALR ID) or federal documents such as a passport can be used. Also confirm your polling location before you go, as we saw multiple people turned away.

Just got our second “just in case” COVID test this week. We got home from our trip Monday and we are being extra cautious. Our first test was negative and all of the vaccinated fam we were with also had negatives. This is what responsible adulting looks like.

As of last count, over 86% of COVID hospitalizations have been unvaccinated. Over 81% of new cases are also among the unvaccinated. While we continue to deal with the increased hospitalizations from Omicron, the vaccine is needed to help slow this increase.
