Some of the prisoners released a few years ago from Israeli prison in the previous deal are the ones planned the massacre on October 7th.
Some of the hostages taken by Hamas are women, children, babies and elderly.

Hamas is boasting 35k fighters (before the beginning of the war). They have tens of thousands of rockets, firing hundreds every day on major Israeli cities (except during ceasefire).
That is not "nothing".
This is an asymmetrical war, but a war, nonetheless.

Well, some campus groups call for Jewish genocide, intifada, and openly support the atrocities of October 7th as a way of legitimate resistance, despite being obvious war crimes and just obviously morally repulsive. Is it enough to talk about them even if others are peace loving?

Muslims pray freely at the Al Aqsa mosque.

1. Most of the land was empty, sand, swamps, etc.. It didn't belong to anyone.

1. Last number I read about destroyed buildings (not by Israel) was less than 10%, and 40% were damaged (unspecified how badly). If you have a credible source claiming it is 50% destroyed, please share.
