Look, one can choose an empathetic partner but one cannot constantly cry and complain; that's draining for everyone regardless of gender. Need to learn to cope with our own emotions without blaming it on others and expecting partners to help us- that's real maturity.

There were periods of my time when my parents had to leave us at my maternal grandparents' house as they lived outside of the country. I was raised by cousins/grandparents, aunts/uncles, etc. It was the best time I had, and they did what was necessary. A few mistakes were made

Food should be only stored in the fridge for a certain time and I grew up eating 3 fresh meals. Stagnant meals =stagnant energy but there was a time when I used to meal plan too. Have to work with what we can best.
