If i cannot get access, need medicine to be prescribed or the discharge paperwork to be completed (TTO’s) I escalate this to the doctor why if they are to come to my aid is that not reflected in their pay?

If well enough to review the wait are they choosing well? Could their need be met elsewhere? 111, OOH, pharmacy? Im not sure the wait should be the reason a person attends or not as their wait will depend on what is wrong and how promptly they need to be seen & treated

I nursed a gentleman who married at 97 After a whirlwind romance. His new bride was 94, they met at a coffee morning. He only attended because he went to provide moral support to a recently widowed friend, and fell in love. I am privileged to be a nurse to listen to such stories.

The library was where my mother took me to borrow books to learn to read. I applied for my first job in a library and studied in the quiet areas when I trained as a nurse. Without it I may never have known higher education or a professional qualification or any social mobility.

Not eating food at work, running on caffeine is not acceptable we need sustinence, it’s affected my performance & i am ashamed. Its not sustainable but felt i had no choice, i was/am less important, which as a nurse i should know better & ensure self care

Comms were a large part of problems during the last pay campaign; that & calling members ‘deluded’ does the organisation have no memory? Or shame? This deal is poor. How can you sell it to members? Just Stop. It’s embarrassing
The only way to secure better pay & action on safe staffing? By voting for it.
We will always fight for nursing, but nothing's guaranteed if we reject this offer. Voting to accept means immediate gain & a stronger position for the future.

What a crock, do not ask me to be resilient when my reaction is not only valid bit appropriate given chronic understaffing, poor ability to affect change and relentless expectation and pressure you can take you course and money making industry and poke it.
£600 for a course telling you that system pressures and meltdown and burnout and moral injury are your fault and you just have to do better.
