It’s rare in politics that an issue is good vs bad as clearly as the issue of sending weapons to Ukraine now. Indiscriminate rocket attacks, new born children in bomb shelters. What is wrong with Ireland’s moral compass that we won’t send weapons to end this suffering

@TadhgHickey Getting what exactly Tadhg. A lame ass comedy sketch that nobody finds funny. It is clear the author of the post has trigger some truth

Sinead is too vexed to even turn on her comments. What a stellar public rep she is
Irish airspace was used by the US as part of an active military operation, something wildly out of step with previous policy. Was this sanctioned by the government or an overstep by the US? Urgent clarity is needed https://t.co/molD0eYtvs

Revenue up, but thankfully Neale working double time to hand it over to anyone and everyone that isn’t on the island of Ireland
Revenue up across the board. Some will try argue this is a fluke or search for negatives but this is a positive and it doesn’t happen by accident. It gives the state great opportunity and great responsibility; especially in difficult global times.

What a disgusting comment to make about anyone, more so Pres Zelenskyy who is trying to lead his country through an illegal invasion by Russia
@DrEoin @eoinmauricedaly I’ll struggle to feel sympathy when he gets “captured and whisked away” to Moscow.

Nato had absolutely nothing to do with America’s unilateral operation in Venezuela, but yeah, Irish neutrality Tadhg 🤣🤣🤣
To the war hawks in elitist Ireland who want us to give up our precious military neutrality and join NATO: is this what you want us to be part of? Ugly, lawless, fascist 21st century imperialism led by a paedophile pig? No thanks. No pasarán!

Seems the Palestine flags 🇵🇸 are half price in the January sales. Venezuela 🇻🇪 flags are new season, so no discount there

It's New Year, so time to look back and forward. These are 10 things I think we need to recognise in 2026. It’s a response to what I think are profoundly damaging mistaken assumptions I’ve heard and read from practitioners, journalists, and analysts in 2025. Warning: very long🧵

Why President Trump’s declaration that the US will RUN Venezuela is norm-shattering and different to any other occupation in US history from Haiti to Iraq 👇🏼

International law friends - your help please How do you breach intl law to arrest a head of state when presumably you’ll have to rely on same set of laws to prosecute him? Genuinely, can anyone enlighten? @JohnOBrennan2 @BrigidLaffan

Interesting piece on BA decline. Many parallels with 🇮🇪 (except 🇮🇪 way worse) “Army chiefs have sometimes wondered whether they should speak out and.. resign. But their hands have been stayed by a deeply ingrained sensed of loyalty, [both to] the constitution and to the Army”
Over the past half century, the British Army has been shaped by shifting strategic demands and repeated operational tests. Its combat capability expanded during the Cold War as planners prepared for conflict with the Soviet Union, before being proven — and strained — in Northern

Hey @labour - could you ask Conor what he proposes Europe should do? We’d ask but he’s not taking replies 🙄
