@hanfjob Only think this would happen if there was also a chance of this bill passing (which there isn't).

@AlsikkanTV Their friendship is the only reason I give Cranston the benefit of the doubt and believe he actually wanted to do this and isn’t DJing as some cynical move of going viral.

@mountbellyache There's no way the 3rd story is true. If I asked for recommendations on something and someone just sent me a list of all my favorites I already knew about I'd be more annoyed than smitten.

@decoyrobot The realest shit that Patrick Willems has ever said was that you could learn everything you need to know about how the American film industry changed from the 70s to the 80s simply by watching Rocky and then watching Rocky IV.

@akirangei @poolsideconvooo I mean I entirely understand why they were dragged fr this, but these pictures would look rad as hell if they were like a poster for a video game or something and not the loss of a cultural landmark.

@fiImgal Not shocked that the man who asked Michael Bay why they weren't training astronauts to be drillers instead of drillers to be astronauts in Armageddon would say this.

@GoSoundtracks @AdequateEmily It means it's a film that doesn't treat its audience like children so people who are used to movies talking down to them are gonna get upset by it.

@VinnieMancuso1 And I'm sure it's just a fun Easter egg that they're the direct descendants of the first man to ever appear in a moving image whose identity was entirely erased from real world history.

@brandotendie As much as I love goofing on Cinema Robert it's a little too unbelievable for him to say anything this negative about an MCU movie.

@jakebrodes It's the most naked example of AAVE being passed off as "stan culture language" and I know like 97% of "stan culture language" is just AAVE but this one is the most blatant imo.

@TheAlexSylvian I'd find it more believable that the Pay It Forward program contributed to under 10% of actual audience members seeing the film.

@ScarletGodzilla I'm not sure I believe you when you say you know who he is. If you did you'd actually make a joke about a John Woo movie instead of your idea of a "pretentious" movie that he has never made.

@JohnDiLillo The cut the line in the script where he says this to her and she says "Yes, I know. I saw it in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984). It was a tremendously popular film and instrumental in the introduction of the PG-13 rating.".

If I were looking for a film that addressed trauma in a more realistic way, I would simply watch movies not made by the Walt Disney corporation. Perhaps even films aimed at adults.
This might be an unpopular take, but. I'm kind of tired of animated films exploring Generational Trauma when the only ending that they're willing to have is "The trauma was resolved because it's the end of the movie now and that's when things are resolved :)" [1/8]

@EPM106 Every time Letterboxd releases one of these "most popular" lists it reminds me when Brian David Gilbert tried to devise an objective formula for determining The Game of the Year, and his winner was Fortnite by a massive margin.
