I went through Sloane Square station tonight on my way home. Whilst I was there I looked up at one of my favourite
#secretsofthelondonunderground
Inside that pipe over the station is one of London’s lost rivers: the Westbourne.
Tomorrow in the FINAL EPISODE of
#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
we go to
#BakerStreet
station. I can’t believe it’s the finale tomorrow, the series has flown by, 10 whole episodes and I’m so so grateful for all of you for watching and liking it! I hope you love the last episode!
Hey everyone it’s
@ChrisNixEsq
birthday!!! This man hired me 7 years ago and has been a mentor, partner in grime and one of my best friends I have had in my life since! Happy birthday Chris!!! 🥳💕🎂🙌🏻
Tonight on
#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
we go to Aldgate East and St Mary’s Whitechapel!! We got to do a track walk between the two stations in the middle of the night and it felt properly spooky and exciting! Tune in tonight at 8pm on
@YesterdayTweets
@MrTimDunn
Eeeeek! Look mum look! Best part of this was that the BTP asked if they could take the photo for us, we explained that it was us on the screen, they asked “so are you famous or something” Tim and I *look* at each other and go “well… not really, maybe if you like trains” 🤣
Today I visited the Bank Upgrade project. It is truly key hole surgery of the Underground on an EPIC scale. This is going to be such a game changer when it opens and I can’t wait to see the finished product. The engineering behind this is actually mind blowing! I love my job!!
I’m getting so many messages asking where I got this jumper from so a tweet is quicker! My beautiful grandmother knitted this for me for Christmas this year,so it’s not available to buy anywhere I’m afraid. It’s my all time favourite thing to wear 💚
For the second time today I got spotted on the tube (where else) by fans of
#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
thanks for coming over and saying hi Lee and Jackie ☺️☺️
I hope you liked this weeks episode!! Mark Lane is a find that I am still reeling with excitement about, can’t wait to go back there!! And how amazing was Georgia Morley, our senior curator and moquette expert???
#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
Thank you everyone for watching!!! So thrilling to share these spaces with you all! And next week: Piccadilly Circus - The heart of London 🙌🏻🤩
#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
That’s a wrap on
#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
series 3 for me 🥳 a labour of love that wouldn’t happen without the incredible team we have making the show! Can’t wait for you all to see the amazing places we’ve visited
@yesterday_channel
and
@uktvplay
Woweee thanks everyone for your lovely birthday wishes! I had the loveliest day filled with good food, running, mini golf, margaritas and friends. What a privilege it is to grow older! Me at 16 vs me in 2021
The team work alongside
@TfL
London Underground Network Incident Response Managers (NIRM).
Together we carry out location checks for possible trespass incidents.
Last night the team explored the disused part of the British museum closed in 1933!
Watching our final episode with our amazing director Rich Mathews he doesn’t have Twitter but he does have insta
@richmathews310
this is the man who made our series work and he is my favourite
#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
I love this photo
@MrTimDunn
if these faces don’t want to make you follow us into dusty dirty tunnels I don’t know what will! T-minus 5 days till
#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
🙌🏻
Twitterverse!! Please join me in welcoming the one and only

#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
Thank you to everyone who made this happen!! It’s been a dream of mine to share these spaces with people and tonight we can finally all explore together.
#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
Interlude! A little personal thank you from me &
@siddyholloway
to everybody on the crew and beyond who’s collaborated to make
#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
. We’re both so chuffed to have been part of the team… and what a team. We hope everyone enjoys it tonight. Cheers all!🚇
Happy Monday everyone!! I’m at Down Street this morning, and I’ve actually missed this amazing place so much! Tickets for tours of Down Street go on sale on the
@ltmuseum
website on Friday! But newsletter subscribers get first dips on Thursday!
#hiddenlondon
Little known fact…
@ChrisNixEsq
came with us to almost every site when we were filming to assist with logistics! Couldn’t have done it without him on site and at the Depot and The Museum!!
#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
It you didn’t catch the last episode of
#secretsofthelondonunderground
on Monday, you’re in luck!! It’s on again tonight at 10pm on
@YesterdayTweets
and in it we explore the amazing engineering relic behind us… but we had to get some crew cop photos on our last day 🤣🙌🏻
Right gang! I’m calling all tile enthusiasts… these tiles are in a disused part of a station, which is from the Victorian era, but these tiles seem a bit too young to be Victorian…my guess is 1900-1915 BUT I could be wrong! What do you think? Feel free to send onto tile experts
Last tour of the day of our brand new tour of Kingsway Tram Subway! A brilliant success! To everyone who has been messaging asking if people can visit some of the sites from
#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
yes you can! Go to
@ltmuseum
and check out Hidden London!
Tonight on
#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
we go to Euston and York Road!! Here’s a video of me at York Road, it was extremely dark, cold and dusty, just the way we like it! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I absolutely loved filming the Highgate segment, the fact that nature has taken over the site over the last 40 plus years is just incredible!
#SecretsOfTheLondonUnderground
Tonight is the annual
@ltmuseum
auction dinner at the Guildhall, and how delightful it is to be back around all the brilliant supporters of our museum!
The Westbourne River runs through Kilburn, Bayswater, Hyde Park and Chelsea where it joins the Thames. Sloane Square opened in 1868 and during construction the river was carried over the platforms in that big iron pipe.

Also sorry to all followers that I only tweet when there is a football match on… I rarely look on Twitter unless there’s big football on 🤣 I’ll get better I promise
Unpopular opinion… but having your phone set so your flash goes off every time you get a text is rather annoying and I kinda can’t see the benefit of it… except to make sure everyone around you sees you got a text 🤔
#grumpywednesday
🤷🏼♀️🤣😇

Here’s a little gem I had completely forgotten about. Little 19 year old me singing an Argentinian Zamba in 2010. for context I lived in Argentina as an exchange student when I was 18 😅
