A dead rabbit has been hanging on a wall at Watford Junction station for the past 30 years. Rabbit was an early mobile phone network that opened in May 1992, but closed less than 2 years later in Dec 1993, when its owner replaced it with the Orange mobile network (now @EE )

Was on the edge of the M25 on Saturday, where there's protests objecting to plans to build homes on the derelict Wisley Airfield. Taylor Wimpey wants to build 1,700 homes plus shops & a school. Locals are worried about loss of trees (it's barren) and farmland (it's an airport)

National Service was abolished in June 1963 (mainly because the Army hated it), so you'd have to be at least 79 years old to have been involved. The three ladies in the photo are talking about something abolished so long ago that not even their own fathers would have done it.

This is a very rare photo - shows the original Canary Wharf DLR station, which was demolished before the line even opened, when plans were changed to turn an area planned to be mainly low-rise offices into the towers we have today.
