Does anyone stop & consider why “Irish-American,” “Italian-American,” & “Polish-American” phased out while “African-American” is still used commonplace? Just maybe that perpetuates the perception of black people as un-American/as “them” and not “us.” Plain sight discrimination 🤷🏻♂️

Any law/action that makes voting easier & more accessible is shot down by Republicans b/c it will drastically increase fraudulent votes. An outdated and verifiably false argument. Ensuring people CAN vote without this kind of BS is just as important as getting people to vote.

Too add context, Papa Loeffler put SO much mayo on sandwiches that it almost guaranteed that the Loeffler sons would abstain. It was only once we flew out of the nest that we saw it for what it really was.
There was an extended period of my life in which I refused to put mayonnaise on a sandwich.
I can never get those years back...what was I doing?!?!?

As far as player-driven concrete steps to enact change go, this is one of the best actions they could have pushed for and it’s beyond admirable.
It’s reprehensible that responsibility for action falls on players’ shoulders rather than those with greater political/financial power
