Chris Roycroft played D-III basketball and baseball. He worked at Jimmy John's and Dick's Sporting Goods on top of both sports to make money. After going undrafted and two years of indy ball, the Cardinals signed him. Last night, he made his MLB debut.

For all the focus people put on level in recruiting, it’s important to remember…. After you graduate, NO ONE cares what level you played. Employers love hiring athletes, not bc they were D1 or D2, but bc being a college athlete shows you have discipline and are a hard worker.
