Today I'm in Miami, preparing full karate mom mode as my son competes in his second karate nationals. 6 months ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer after a tumor growing in my spine broke my back. I lost 15lbs, all my leg muscles atrophied, I had to learn to walk again.

I don't know what's worse, my friend in California who just posted a video of themselves at the gas pump at $7.28/gallon or the friend driving back to LA from Palm Springs in a Tesla with 2 kids under 5 who had to wait 3 hours at a charging station to charge up her car. 🥴

Rick literally saved my life on 9/11. Had he not insisted we evacuate even when the building security said otherwise, I would have still been on the 65th floor of 2WTC when it was hit.

This is amazing. My brother's journey was rough & none of us (including him) thought he'd make it to 30. He's now 41, a great dad, hard worker & the best Uncle to his mini me. Sobriety is a life long battle but there are success stories. I'm so glad my brother is one of them!

My mom gets up with my dad every morning and she cooks dinner most nights. My dad in turn does most of the housecleaning (he’s total OCD), takes her out for date night every Friday & surprises her with roses often. 43 years and they ADORE each other.

I'm angry. I normally keep this to myself. Two under 13 yo family members had issues with myocardis after receiving the 2nd dose & 5+ have only been approved for just over a month. I'm not against vaccination especially if it made a real difference but that hasn't been the case.

In the article it explains that the meter was not being read by the water company and the previous owner paid all the bills they were sent. This is due to the city getting access AFTER the fact, so there was never any lien and the title was clean at closing. This is 🤬

Dad Update: I spoke to my dad this morning and he said he feels like an entirely new person. No more breathing issues, he woke up this morning at 5:30am full of energy (something he hasn't had in years). Who knew clearing a few blocked arteries could make him good as new!

Yesterday I did the unthinkable. I drove 985 miles from Chicago to Worcester with a 5 year old and a dog without stopping for anything more than food & bathroom breaks! It took 14 hours but these two were rock stars!

Just a quick update surgery went well Wednesday. Yesterday was a really really rough day. Today I'm not so much in pain, I'm just stiff. They had to rebuild my spine. T6-T12 fusion. It's going to be a 6-12 month recovery. We still don't know what caused this to happen. Waiting on

Today Gabriel's class completed their Biography unit "Gathering of the Greats". To mark the conclusion each student chose a "Great" to represent at the "Facts Museum". Gabe chose Abe Lincoln. He took it very seriously, even wrote out the opening of the Gettysburg Address!
