Mandelson “has a long history of favouring corporations in often scandalous situations“ Peter Mandelson, Keir Starmer’s choice for British ambassador to the US, co-owns a business that helps companies “see opportunities in politics, regulation and public policy”. There is a connection between sexual and corporate predators, Machiavellianism, narcissism, psychopathy, and toxic masculinity. Men in positions of power are psychologically very sick individuals. We must question the presumption of legitimacy has profound and largely unexplored implications for corporate theory and anti-discrimination law. It extends the theory of “control fraud” central to white-collar criminology to a new concept of “control predation” that includes conduct that is ethically objectionable, if not necessarily illegal.
