Having been an education reporter in the county for a long time seeing the first city academy open in Bradford while working at the @Bradford_TandA in 2005 and the expansion of the programme in the 2010s while at the @yorkshirepost this @tes piece on the region was fun to write.
Our latest deep dive into the academy trust landscape looks at Yorkshire and the Humber. A debate about what excellence should look like and a region "juggling coastal, rural and urban deprivation". Thanks to all the leaders who contributed.
