Highlight the parts of the job that sucks UPFRONT so they know what they're signing up for - working outside in the rain, heat, cold, wind, you won't have easy access to a bathroom so you'll either have to hold it or go to a gas station between job sites. You'll get covered in chemicals you always want to wear your PPE to be safe. This is a seasonal business so you will have significantly reduced hours during the winter. If they're not comfortable with any of these items don't move forward. Other questions I always ask is tell me about your driving record and do you have a driver's license. This is a customer facing position so how would you rate your customer service skills. Why do you want to work for a power washing company? Are you okay working overtime and weekends occasionally? Have you done manual labor before and did you enjoy it? Your average paycheck will be X amount, is that compensation going to work for you? Stuff like that
