While in DfE I personally saw an attempt by officials to remove an external adviser for expressing gender critical views. The attempt was less sophisticated than the 'hit job' against Falkner, but used very similar means and language. Thread.

Delighted to see this in the @Conservatives manifesto. Pylons are outdated and ugly. There are affordable alternatives. Let’s make the right decision for the next generation.

During the election, I and many others standing for the @Conservatives , said that a #LabourGovernment would inevitably: ❗️raise taxes, ❗️give in to the Unions, ❗️scrap the Tories Hospital Building programme. This has now all come true!
