We need our Government to see people as potential to be developed and not problems to be solved. They have two years to listen to those who are in the real world and not the Westminster bubble, and to deliver life changing solutions- of which there are many.
2/ £370m of that funding will support small, local charities working with vulnerable people.
In England, this support will be provided through organisations like the National Lottery Communities Fund.

report, showing the numbers of people taking over homes of the most vulnerable to deal drugs, run gangs, trade weapons has exploded through lockdown. On on our estates it’s this stuff they talk about-can our politicians do the same?
Thousands of vulnerable people in the UK are being affected by ‘cuckooing’ - exploitation which can see drug dealers use a victim's home to prepare, store and distribute drugs, often as part of ‘county lines’ networks.
We must change the law and kick the cuckoos out of the nest.

For those even contemplating closing schools- don’t. The last shut downs plunged thousands of children into the darkness as the

Closing schools again risks disaster.
Following 1st covid wave, absent pupils grew 55% to over 90,000. Missing school makes exclusion & drop outs more likely & acts as a conveyor into youth
justice system and prison. 59% prisoners truanted.
Both political parties need to come out and give a bold agenda for the young people of this nation. The scale of response has not met the scale of need since the pandemic. School absence has soared, storing up trouble for years to come.
