Got to check out the future of wearable HUD that can be retrofitted to the B737 and soon A320s. Universal Vision+Elbit’s Clear Vision system. This was originally for the Aerion supersonic business jet. It combines IR and SVT as well as nav cues for higher situational awareness.

NDA is SOP for ALL crew assigned/operating on Presidential flights. Background checks also thrown in as part of protocol, hasn’t changed ever since. Flight crew also vetted. You’re not forced to sign an NDA, one can back off & the (vetted) field reserve will take over.

Very interesting flight, but it is possible to fly over a storm and not get hammered by it. But that altitude of 16,000 can be skimming it, I’d max out and fly way above it. There’s a good reason why this is a bad idea, incase of an emergency you need to land below into the storm
