@fitnessfeelingz Heard that potato chips were invented by black cook after a restaurant customer said his fried potatoes were too thick and told him to make them thinner. Customer liked them so much he said keep doing it that way. So it was the customers idea to do it and to sell them :-/

@OldWest1453 I was just watching old Norm clips about 9/11 this morning and thinking how it doesn't have the same emotional impact it used to have, kind of like December 7. I wonder if younger generations know anything about it.

That's what I think about it too. A lot of pumps beep to get your attention when they want you to look at an ad. I've had to train myself to ignore it.
So a lot of the gas station pumps in WA state play ads on a TV screen on the pump as you are pumping gas. I am at a small town 76 gas station, and this guy in his mid 60s says to another guy pumping gas in his mid 60s. “Whose idea was it to play these damn TVs while we’re are pumping gas?” Other guy: “Couldn’t tell ya” First guy: “Well they auttabe shot” So now we have a glimpse of what the older country folk think about that.

@Chase_Steely I went to UF and let me tell you, it was very intimidating to see Harry Crews in the hallways. One of my regrets is that I never took one of his classes.

@ISmokeEmWet @BrowningMachine I pick someone from a rural part of a state I have a connection with who doesn't have a father listed, whose date is near and whose list is still pretty full. Can't be sure of course, but yeah it's pretty random

@ISmokeEmWet @BrowningMachine Same. I also like to give food (I know there are problems with this) and once in a while I'll pick someone at random off Amazon's baby list who looks like she might need some help and buy her list out.
