Thanks so much @DavidJayBrown for this wonderful review of Death by Astonishment... (Pre-order link in next post) "Compulsively readable and impossible to put down, Death by Astonishment is a page-turning odyssey into the enigmatic history of the world’s strangest drug. Overflowing with rare insights, brimming with high adventure, and seamlessly weaving together the neurochemical, pharmacological, psychological, and neuroscientific dimensions of DMT, Gallimore’s extraordinary narrative unveils a prehistoric jungle potion as a secret interdimensional technology. Bringing together many of the most pivotal stories in psychedelic history, Gallimore not only connects the dots but also fills in the missing pieces, shedding new light on the mysteries of this extraordinary molecule. Integrating groundbreaking research with vivid psychedelic trip reports, he captures the full spectrum of the DMT experience—from the biochemical to the cosmic. Opening communication channels with alien intelligences and enigmatic entities, DMT has launched intrepid voyagers into astonishing new worlds—and Gallimore documents these journeys with breathtaking clarity. More incredible than any work of science fiction, Death by Astonishment will leave you awestruck. Like DMT itself, this book reveals hidden realms of existence and illuminates a post-human future where humanity forges a symbiotic union with higher life forms. A monumental work—thoroughly researched, beautifully written, and utterly mind-expanding—I couldn’t recommend it more highly." —David Jay Brown, author of The Illustrated Field Guide to DMT Entities

@TrippAardema @carloslunetta That’s fine. But that can be achieved with pharmahuasca in a pill form. No need for toddler fodder.

@Bone_Bonce I didn’t say it was turning it into something easy. It’s not doing anything other than turning it into a gummy for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

@kript0mat I had no idea people were injecting it! But I remember the first wave of 4-MMC very well — I can still smell it.

@ArtemyShumskiy Oh I know. During the brief period when it was legal in the UK, it was everywhere (4-MMC “mcat”in particular). And it stank. I recall several of my friends staying awake for days at a time on it. A stim with no endpoint. Awful stuff.
