An important study that links (albeit doesn’t prove) schizophrenia and heavy cannabis use. It’s not hard to imagine that there are negative long term impacts of a drug that knowingly alters the sensorium. Especially concerning among younger patients.
Since legalization, new schizophrenia cases linked to heavy cannabis use have tripled. 🧵1/9

@_SWATCommander Fully agree as a shift worker in emerg. But my wife, who is a family doctor isn’t looking to be working more evenings and weekends in addition to her daytime practice. She’s already working every evening doing charts/results. Require clarity in the plan.

I see ppl widely applying to those who hit head and no LOC or aLOC. Same for c spine rules
