But, in the inpatient setting, with proper therapeutic monitoring , it can be very effective, especially as a short term agent.

Patient is coming from the Cath lab with RV failure after RCA opened up? Likely to see an Impella RP. From an intensivist perspective, I prefer upper extremity access for ⬆️mobilization
