There was lots of play with plus sign and minus sign while praying so I was wondering if it’s for something akin electric circuits . And I think it was confirmed after a while that circuits ARE a thing in this book which was really fun to pick up early on.

Yes, you’re not supposed to resonate with Kaido. The motives behind his actions in wano and his depression is not to be understood . And his minimal backstory is very intentional, as he doesn’t receive the same treatment as other legends in the verse (he shouldn’t be completed)

Short and concise per usual with Wolfe’s works. There’s as much in the unknown as there is in the written text which makes it so interesting. I would say I’m more trained after reading some of him, so I might have been able to pick up some details which makes this read more fun.
