.This book outshines the first by a lot, the world is expanded upon more, the characters shine A LOT more, especially Elend, Sazed and Vin and the mystery was handled very well considering I couldnāt put it down for 95% of the read. HOA š

.An absolutely beautifully written book, with outstanding and detailed prose. The main character hooked me emotionally very early on and only continued to grow, keeping me interested even until the last words on the page.

.This book was very good, it expanded and concluded a lot of arcs very well whilst also leaving open just enough to lead into the next trilogy. The finale was one of the best ever and wrapped everything up beautifully.

.This was a good book, and very good entry to the mistborn trilogy. The characters were interesting and real, Kelsier in particular standing out amongst the rest, what a character. The power system as expected was amazing, will be reading book 2.

As much as I'm loving the live action, Episode 37 of the anime still remains untouchable, 23 years after it first aired. Akemi Okamura's voice acting for Nami did a masterful job at conveying her anger, grief and powerlessness.
