I am on a 1-year journey to become a web3 developer. Starting today, I am beginning 365 consistent days of coding (or learning, networking, writing articles etc.)
I plan to document my journey in this thread daily and would appreciate all the support I can get.

All the stories of people learning to code and landing $100k jobs in 3 months or gaining 10k followers in 2 weeks make it sound like everything should be so fast.
It’s probably going to take most of us much longer than that and it’s okay to go at our own space. There’s no rush.

The actual web3 guide for beginner developers IMO is to take a step back and get solid on your html, css and JavaScript first and then pace yourself with learning Web3 tech.

Best advice I got was to take out the aspiring from my bio. If you’re actively learning , and working on projects you’re already a developer. It’s okay to start seeing and referring to yourself as one.

I recently realized no one really knows what you’re capable of not even yourself. You don’t know whether or not you’ll succeed in that role so just go for it and you might be pleasantly surprised or you’ll learn from the experience. Don’t reject yourself!!

In 2020 I pushed myself too hard and experienced burnout for the first time. It took me over a year to fully recover and I promised myself I would never get to that point again.
But I think I’m at the point of burnout again.

Applications usually open around July /August for some like Bloomberg launch and October November for others like Bank of America, Goldmansachs etc. Find people on LinkedIn that have the internships, go to the companies websites etc to gain more information and start preparing
