We used to make my dad ties. Ugly, obvs, but he wore them to work. When I saw him at my college graduation he was wearing one that I had made.
@BaseballGabb
I posted a picture of something kind my dad did and some guy responded that good dads like mine ruin men’s chances in dating because daughters know how they should be loved and I had to just walk away from the internet for a while LOL
what are posts that aren’t load-bearing anywhere but your personal lexicon. like the ones that weren’t really popular but are so enshrined in your mind that you just assume they got hundreds of thousands of likes
a dodger fan “friend” complained in my DMs about the rest days. Said we had momentum. I reminded him that the padres lost the first game of the series. Apparently we operate with time-release momentum
The Padres announce a crowd of 42,062. They've hit 3 million fans for the second time. They've also set San Diego's single-season attendance record, now at 3,029,009 this year. (That's with five games left on the schedule, not counting two home dates in Mexico City.)
interesting that Bret Boone insisted just last week that Pete Rose’s “mistakes in his personal life” (rape of a girl!) and explicitly breaking the rules of MLB were in the past and not who he was as a person but Manny’s young moments on the field are who he is forever ?
I dated a guy who lived in a building right next to the park and he always complained about the noise and when I pointed out that was a pretty silly thing to say because he chose to live there because of its proximity to the park — he did not find that fact to be relevant
the guy I went to a game with who asked what position Joe Musgrove played, got mad that I already knew what he wanted to “teach” me, and dead serious accused me of only caring bc of the hot guys
just posted that after being a “lifelong” padres fan, he’s rooting for the d*dgers
you can call me a lotta things but not a welcher!!! I ordered the one that peels so I don’t block the view of the fans around me. see you soon
