China has more stable and more Competent and predictable government than the USA. USA is going thru a turmoil now. The old guard and entrenched bureaucracy are shaken from the ground and replaced by highly chaotic and unpredictable new guard!

The aggressive tax collection in Mogadishu and unapologetic land selling/leasing seems necessary now in light of Donald Trump’s win and cutoff of US financial support to SFG. Africa, tighten your belts, be a sovereign nation or give up.

According to Milton Friedman , the Noble laureate American economist, there are only two essential functions of government: 1. Protect the nation from foreign enemy - Defense. 2. Protect people from each other: police, laws and justice. Only government can do those two things.

Marching is not that hard but winning wars is a totally different case. So far the GorGor performance in the battle field has being less than impressive. Maybe the fault is with the leadership. Both quality of soldiers and leadership from top to bottom matters in winning wars.

Alhamdullillah, I never applied for a government job in my life. One time, a friend and former colleague encouraged me to take a software engineering position with IRS but I never bother. Now, my friend is in bad situations due to the new Trump executive orders.

@osmando Considering the data includes biometric data is really scary! It is not very hard to have very secure systems these days. You just need one or two competent IT professionals. They give Ali Balcad wrong assignment. They should give him this one.

@Amohamednur Waziir, with all due respect, something is terribly wrong with these social media military graduations. Where is the result? The result is embarrassing. Where I work, if I just show nice powerpoint presentation without actual tangible results, I would be fired in months.

The federal government with international help was fighting ISIS for the last couple of years. There were several press releases from FSG regarding raids and bombing on ISIS bases in the far East of Puntland. But current Puntland regime reacted negatively on those actions.
I suggest you also invite the Prime Minister, @HamzaAbdiBarre, so he can share how the Federal Government is supporting this monumental effort by Puntland. If they have not yet contributed to the pacification campaign against ISIS, perhaps His Excellency could use this platform to announce how they will assist these efforts. Puntland appealed for international assistance a few days ago and the national government should support.
