It never failed or broke down or anything, but it wouldn’t charge on AC at anything over ~16Amps. It DC charges fine too. So to AC charge you have to turn the Amps down or (what I did) use a 16A cable. My wife is super pissed off with me for making an issue with Fiat out of it as she says ‘slower charging is fine’ 🤪 For me it’s an indicator that something is wrong and likely to be ‘more wrong’ down the line - when it’s out of warranty most likely. Fiat have had it about three mot now. They have no clue what to do. They’ve replaced a few things to no avail.

If you use a 16A cable, it’ll work fine. 11kW AC is the max on 500e I think @petersharding

Yeah, I can’t see another likely outcome tbh. I dunno how that would work. I didn’t buy it from them. They would have to give retail replacement price credit. She’d be happy with another one in replacement though. Whether they could find a one owner, 7 thousand mile or less one in that colour is another matter. A right pickle.
