There is a fall in the consumption of livestock products. We are concerned, and we'd like to advise our farmers on how the quality of the products can be made better. The low consumption rate for meat among Ugandans is attributed to the poor quality of the products. (1/5)
The second rainy season is on. It is our joy when farmers yield heavily. Today, we talk about Crop Rotation. It is the practice of growing different crops in turns in various plots on the same field. Keep changing the plots of land in which you are planting different crops.

@narouganda
achieved alot in the year 2016-2021.
Maize Planting: Timely planting is very crucial and it is best to plant after 2-3 good rains. Dry planting is not encouraged unless a farmer is sure of good rain within 3-4 days and the seed should be dressed with a chemical thus the advantage of using certified seed.
As we get geared towards marking 25 years of unrivalled agricultural research excellence in Uganda and East Africa, we shall share testimonies of beneficiaries of our outstanding Interventions through the years.
