Today @ASARECA Interim Executive Director @sdbaguma has held talks with the Managing Director Seed Potato Fund (SPF) Joint Ventures, Rwanda, Mr. Vincent Sinduhunga at his offices in Musanze, Rwanda. They discussed the functionality and achievements of Agricultural Innovation Platforms supported by a consortium including @ASARECA, @FARAinfo @EAFFinfo in Rwanda. The initiative is funded by the @EU_Commission in East Africa.

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: Consultancy Services for External Audit of ASARECA Financial Statements 2024 for CAADP XP4 and AICCRA Projects. The Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern and Central Africa (ASARECA) has received financing from the European Union (EU) managed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (“IFAD”) and the World Bank and intends to apply a portion for consulting services to concurrently carry out three sets of annual audit reviews for: (1) the ASARECA organization wide covering the financial year ended December 2024. (2) specific audit of the Statement of Expenditure (SoE) of the IFAD-EU funded CAADP-XP4 Project. (3) specific audit of Financial report for AICCRA project covering the same reporting period. ASARECA now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the above consultancy Services. The #WATDEV awareness workshop is aimed at disseminating #knowledge and #skills about Best Management Practices (BMPs), and innovations that the project Trainers of Trainers (ToTs) acquired during their training #ToTs held in Italy in December 2023 and September 2024. The training was meant to facilitate participatory identification and selection of suitable scenarios for scaling the BMPs and innovations in Egypt, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Sudan. #water #soil #crop

As the European Union funded and IFAD managed CAADP-XP4 program comes to and end, today, the #CAADP-XP4 consortium members @ASARECA @CORAFNews @FARAinfo @afaasinfo @ccardesa_sadc are taking stock of key achievements of the program. Going forward, the consortium will consolidate and document the successes.
