@KennethOmona @NAROBanana Desuckering a young plantation requires the use of de-suckering spear . Also consider desuckering when the suckers are still young (1ft) to avoid damage to the mother plant. Staggered Sucker selection is key to for continuous harvest throughout the year

@KennethOmona Since the mother plant has not yet fruited, remove a few suckers but not all. This is to avoid weakening the mother plant. Leave 1 or 2 suckers.
